Meet Dr. Mikah
Chiropractor. Mama's Biggest Cheerleader. Movie Buff. Professional Overexplainer.
Dr. Mikah’s love for chiropractic began when she was a little girl recovering from a dance injury. What started as a way to get back to doing what she loved soon became a regular part of her life, and she grew up experiencing the benefits of chiropractic care firsthand.
In high school, Dr. Mikah went to work for the same chiropractor she’d grown up seeing. This time, she got to experience chiropractic from the other side of the adjusting table. She saw firsthand the relationships he built with his patients and how much they trusted him. She realized that being a chiropractor wasn’t just about helping people feel better- it was about getting to know them, caring about their lives, and becoming someone they could count on.
And that’s exactly the kind of chiropractor she wanted to become.
Having always had a heart for women and children, Dr. Mikah found that chiropractic gave her the perfect opportunity to combine the things she loved most: caring for people, building relationships, and being part of a family’s story.
Today, nothing makes her happier than caring for a first-time mama. She loves being part of the excitement, the nerves, and all the big feelings that come with pregnancy. Whether that means helping a mom feel more comfortable, offering reassurance, or sharing a few happy tears, she’s all in. And getting to meet that sweet baby after months of caring for Mom? That’s the icing on the cake.
She’s just as happy surrounded by energetic little kids who are running, climbing, exploring, and keeping everyone on their toes. Dr. Mikah loves meeting kids exactly where they are and making their visits feel fun, comfortable, and completely their own.
If you ask Dr. Mikah what matters most to her, she’ll tell you it’s ensuring every patient knows they have someone in their corner.
She’s a listener, a feeler, and a self-proclaimed overexplainer. She wants to know what’s going on in your life, not just what’s going on with your body. She’ll take the time to explain the why behind your care, make sure you feel comfortable, and remember that random story you told her three visits ago. Her goal is for every patient to leave feeling a little more confident, a lot more cared for, and genuinely excited to come back.
It’s exactly why Vitality felt like home from the moment she walked through the doors. She fell in love with the warm, family-centered atmosphere and couldn’t wait to become part of the growing South College Station community.
Outside the office? Dr. Mikah is happiest with a good cup of coffee, a great movie, and absolutely nowhere she has to be early the next morning.
She’s a dedicated thrifter, adventurous foodie, homemade latte enthusiast, and proud aunt who loves spending time with her nephew. She loves experimenting with new recipes, discovering little coffee shops, and exploring new places through their food.
Her perfect Saturday involves sleeping in, making coffee, watching a Wes Anderson movie, getting in a workout, wandering through an antique shop, cooking something delicious, and catching a movie with a friend- but please make sure she’s in bed by 9 p.m.
Dr. Mikah hopes that when you visit Vitality, you’ll find someone who genuinely wants to know your story, celebrates the little milestones, and makes you feel like you’ve got a friend in your corner.
And if your kids start asking when they get to see Dr. Mikah again? Even better.

Meet Dr. Christie
Chiropractor. Mama. Professional Baby Snuggler. Eternal Optimist.
Dr. Christie’s love for chiropractic started long before she ever imagined opening her own practice.
As a teenager, she struggled with migraines that traditional medicine hadn’t been able to resolve. When she began seeing a chiropractor, something clicked. She loved the experience so much that she started looking for excuses to get adjusted weekly. What began as a search for answers eventually became a calling.
Today, Dr. Christie is the founder of Vitality Family Chiropractic, where she gets to do what she loves most: care for families, build lasting relationships, and remind people just how incredible their bodies are.
With advanced training in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic, infant care, and chiropractic cranial work, Dr. Christie has a particular love for the very beginning of life. She holds her Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP), is certified in the Webster Technique, holds an advanced perinatal certification through the ICPA, and has pursued extensive continuing education in perinatal, pediatric, and cranial care.
And if you ask her what she’s best at? It’s probably babies.
Some of her patients have even accused her of being a bit of a baby whisperer. Whether she’s gently working with a newborn, helping a mom catch a break, or winning over a tiny patient who isn’t quite sure about this whole chiropractor thing, caring for babies is where she feels most at home.
But ask Dr. Christie what really makes her job special, and she probably won’t start listing certifications.
She’ll tell you about the families she’s cared for through multiple pregnancies. The babies she’s watched grow into big kids. The families who started as patients and became friends. She’ll remember your family’s last vacation, what your kids are excited about, and that little detail you mentioned three appointments ago. Because to Dr. Christie, those aren’t little things. They’re the things that make you you.
For her, chiropractic has never been just about an adjustment. It’s about being invited into people’s lives and getting to love on them along the way.
Dr. Christie believes Vitality is a gift from God, and she doesn’t take that responsibility lightly. Her faith shapes the way she leads, serves, and loves the families entrusted to her care. She’s always dreamed of creating more than a place to get adjusted — a space where families feel known, kids can be kids, and appointments turn into conversations, friendships, and hopefully the best 15 minutes of someone’s week.
Outside the office? Well, sitting still isn’t exactly her specialty.
Dr. Christie is married to Nick and is mom to Mackenzie, her favorite adventure buddy. She’s an eternal optimist, always dreaming up her next big idea and finding joy in the everyday moments. Her friends and family have mostly given up trying to get her to slow down.
Her hope is that when you walk into the office, you’ll find more than a chiropractor. You’ll find someone who believes in your body, cheers for your family, celebrates your milestones, and genuinely looks forward to seeing you.
Because around here, you’re not just a patient. You’re part of the family.
Beyond the adjustment

- She's a pilot! Airplanes, gliders, hot air balloons and pretty much any adventure that gets her off the ground.
- She's always planning her next adventure. Whether it's exploring a new country, jumping out of an airplane, or making memories with Nick and Mackenzie, she's happiest experiencing something new.

- She's forever a Backstreet Boys girl. Although Mackenzie has introduced a little K-pop into the mix.
- She's always up for a little friendly competition. Whether it's pickleball or golf (where she's still working on keeping the ball out of the woods), she's happiest when she's having fun and making memories.
Meet Yvonne
Office Manager. Boy Mom. Baby Whisperer. Fiercely Loyal.
Yvonne is a Bryan-College Station girl through and through! Born and raised right here in Aggieland, she briefly traded her hometown for Hutto when her husband’s job took the family away. But even while living in Hutto, Yvonne continued making the drive back to College Station to work at the same office. If there’s one thing to know about Yvonne, it’s that when she loves her people, she sticks with them!
And Yvonne has a LOT of people to love! She and her husband have three boys she absolutely adores, along with a wonderfully enormous extended family, most of whom live right here in the area. She’s the unofficial mom and nurse of just about everyone she knows, the person people call when they’re sick, hurt, or just need someone to take care of them. She credits that nurturing spirit to her own mom, and it’s easy to see how naturally it carries over into her role at Vitality. She can even hold a newborn while keeping the entire front office running, which might just be her greatest superpower!
Outside the office, Yvonne loves football, fishing trips to Rockport with her boys, and wandering through farmers markets and local festivals. Her perfect Saturday starts with a little extra sleep, coffee and devotions on the porch, and ends with football and family. Her faith is at the heart of her life, and she loves being part of a practice where caring for people and building genuine relationships matter so much.

- Puzzles are her happy place. Give her a good puzzle and some quiet time, and she’s perfectly content.
Meet Mikayla
Chiropractic Assistant. Servant’s Heart. Animal Lover. Overachiever Extraordinaire.
Mikayla may have been born in Florida, but she’ll be the first to tell you she’s a Texas girl! She grew up in the tiny town of Dime Box before making her way to College Station to attend Texas A&M. She’s graduating with her degree in Animal Science in December 2026, but Aggieland isn’t getting rid of her just yet! She’ll be sticking around for graduate school, too.
If there’s one thing to know about Mikayla, it’s that she has a huge heart for people and a knack for staying busy! Along with serving on the executive board of Sigma Alpha sorority, she’s a mentor through AggieACHIEVEMates, helping young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities experience college life. She also serves as a special needs intern at Central Baptist Church. That same love for people is one of her favorite parts of Vitality, where she especially loves following our expecting mamas through pregnancy, meeting their sweet new babies, and watching our little patients grow!
Outside the office, Mikayla is one of seven siblings, a proud dog mom to her Bernedoodle, Adagio, and the designated planner of her friend group (backup plans included!). She loves needlepoint, baking, Aggie football, and a good Target run when she needs absolutely nothing. Whether she’s catching up with friends over coffee or spending a cozy Saturday night at home, she’s happiest surrounded by the people she loves.
Beyond the front desk
5 Things You Didn't Know About Mikayla
- She's been to Antarctica! But her next dream adventure is a little warmer: swimming with whale sharks in the Maldives.
- She's never eaten a steak or pork chop. It's a texture thing, and she's perfectly happy keeping it that way!
- She's a certified EMT! Because apparently being a full-time student, working, and volunteering wasn't enough to keep her busy.
- She's a certified floral designer. She earned her certificate through Texas A&M's Benz School of Floral Design and loves creating beautiful arrangements.
- She's the mom of her friend group. She's got a plan, a backup plan, and probably a backup plan for that backup plan.
Meet Candice
Massage Therapist. Blended-Family Ringmaster. Healing Hands. Big Heart.
Candice’s journey into massage therapy began when she was just 14 years old and struggling with chronic migraines. After her mom introduced her to lymphatic and craniosacral therapy, she experienced firsthand just how powerful gentle, intentional bodywork could be. What started with a healthy dose of skepticism turned into a lifelong passion for helping others feel their best.
Born right here in Bryan, Candice grew up between Texas and Utah before eventually finding her way back to Aggieland. Today, she and her husband are raising their blended family of seven kids (yes, SEVEN!), which means life is full of sports, busy schedules, and plenty of opportunities to practice patience! She loves cooking for her family, studying God’s Word, hot yoga, and spontaneous dance parties—even if she’s the only one dancing.
What Candice loves most about massage therapy is walking alongside her clients as they heal. Whether she’s helping someone find relief from physical discomfort or simply creating space for their body and mind to relax, she considers it a blessing to witness the difference that care can make in someone’s life. And getting to know the people on her table? That’s one of her favorite parts.
Beyond the massage table

- She's been making Promise Bibles for her friends. Her faith is a huge part of her life, and she loves finding meaningful ways to share that encouragement with others.
- Her perfect Saturday is all about the little things. A workout, good coffee, family time at the lake, and a cool evening by the fire pit with her husband. Bonus points if there's a good book involved.
